This Saturday 121BC is hosting a tasting by Deliciarum Imports, who are showcasing a selection of wines from Azienda Agricola Casale.
Casale is headed by Antonio Giglioli, pioneer of biodynamic agriculture in Tuscany. He has led his estate since 1980 following the biodynamic culture and using only natural preparation, creating excellent grapes left to macerate for 20 to 30 days, then refining them in 50 year old chestnut barrels.
The Casale wines are incredibly delicate and complex, and with age still retain a freshness and pleasant longevity.
Antonio Giglioli is a great interpreter of sangiovese and biodynamic viticulture, with its highest expression reached in Chianti Riserva DOCG. His white trebbiano is also deliciously surprising.
Whether you're a pilgrim listening to the latest dope rhymes from il Papa, or you're a backyard bunny egg hunter, our "Buona Pasqua" mix is for you. It features wines from six different regions of Italy, and is a fine addition to any long weekend celebration, PURCHASE AVAILABLE TILL WEDNESDAY 23rd $ 240
